Rev. Ronnie L. McLaughlin is the youngest of five children born to the late Rev. W. V. McLaughlin and Mrs. Eva L. McLaughlin of Greensboro. He educated in the Guilford County and Greensboro City Schools and is a 1962 graduate of the James Benson Dudley High School.
He is married to the former Ardelia Wade of South Boston, Virginia and they are the parents of three adult children and have five grandchildren.
Rev. McLaughlin is a member of the Greater Gethsemane Baptist Church of Greensboro, North Carolina. It was at Gethsemane where he accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of 14. He was a faithful worker at Gethsemane where he served as an Usher on the Young Adult Usher Ministry, as member and director of the Young Adult Choir, as a member of the Trustee Ministry, an assistant to the Clerk, Superintendent of Sunday School, and was an Ordained Deacon.
He is the Program Chairperson of the Ministerial Fellowship Alliance of Alamance County. He is a member of the Ordination Council, the Executive Board, and is Second Vice-Moderator of the High Point Educational and Missionary Baptist Association, Inc.
Rev. McLaughlin accepted the call into the Gospel ministry in September of 1981, and was ordained by the Ordaining Council of the HPE&MBA Inc. in August of 1983. Since that time he has been blessed to exercise his gift preaching in and around North Carolina and various citied on the East Coast.
He is a graduate of Shaw University and has worked on his Masters degree at Shaw Divinity School in Raleigh, NC. He travels extensively attending the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. and the Hampton Minister’s Conference.
Rev. McLaughlin, having written an Article for the General Baptist Convention of North Carolina entitled, “Evangelism In The Prison System”, continues to practice the Great Commission. He traveled to Jerusalem, Israel in February of 1990, toured Dakar, Senegal West Africa in February- March of 1999 and again to Dakar, the Gambia, and Ghana West Africa in March of 2001. While Senegal on a mission trip, he was instrumental, along with members of a former pastorate, in providing supplies to the Primary School of Goree Island.
Rev. McLaughlin is presently the Pastor and Founder of Greater Life Missionary Baptist Church in Burlington, NC.

Take the NC-87 exit #147 toward Graham/Pittsboro.
Turn left onto NC-87/S. Main Street.
Enter roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto N. Main Street.
Turn right onto W. Hill Street.
Turn left onto Pomeroy Street.
Pomeroy Street becomes S. Sellars Mill Road.
Turn right onto N. Church Street/US-70.
Turn left onto Roger Street.

From NORTH and EAST:
Take I-40W to I-85S toard Burlington/Greensboro.
Take Haw River exit #150 to US-70 and turn left.
Go through the first light and turn right at the next light which is Church Street.
